  1. Nice one, looking grim though
  2. Ive been viewing an abandoned group on FB and its really quite an interesting avenue of photography
  3. Looks like I feel at the moment
  4. A short trip out a week ago to Monmouth
  5. It was both, I hope to go back in warmer weather as the grounds are quite interesting
  6. A visit to the NT property, Croome in Worcestershire
  7. This was our old street in Birmingham in 2018. There are advantages to living in a conservation zone, but not when its between two rivers. Ironically Evesham has flooded more times than our old street ever did, but we're far enough away so it wont affect us. Our house escaped flooding in 2018, but the houses you see on the other side of the street were a foot lower than ours. All the residents on that side had to leave the house for 12 months whilst everything was fixed
  8. Interesting set. Whenever I think of Southend the letters SS2 6AL come to mind. My first job in the Civil Service was sending off the daily statistics, so I wrote an envelope to 27 Victoria Avenue Southend on Sea, Essex, SS2 6AL every day for a year and its ingrained in my mind even today!
  9. Lovely silhouette and nice tones
  10. Last one is my favourite, like the foreground content
  11. Yes, I think they clearly went far too early
  12. I moved from a flood area in Birmingham, which apparently is not flooding at the moment due to flood defences However this is where I am now, luckily far enough away from the Avon to not be affected
  13. Thank you all, very kind. I've taken that tunnel in all types of light now. Although the lack of street lighting in there makes it easier to photograph, it's still a, public thoroughfare and should be lit at night. Sign of the times in Birmingham I guess
  14. Its on Flickr and just got included in the "Explore" category so clearly they agree
  15. Thanks, yes indeed I did, but this was the first time there were no lights in the tunnel, making it marginally easier to photography but maybe not as striking
  16. Took a local photography group from Worcestershire on a trip around the Birmingham Canals at night
  17. Nice shot, not so sure about the back story
  18. Nice catch of the industrial side of life which seems to run alongside canals
  19. Lovely colours along with the frosty grass
