  1. Having put myself forward to pick this months in focus winners I was fairly sure this morning which 3 pictures I was choosing....... then looking again this afternoon on a larger monitor I have completely changed my mind. This months winners in no particular order and each winning absolutely nothing other than the obligatory TIPF dollop of kudos are as follows.................... Ryewolf ~ A wonderful architectural image working perfectly in mono it actually looks quite foreboding and the positioning and perspective of the statue against the door frame is brilliant. JamesT ~ Very brave to go mono on such a classic image that we almost always see in colour. The fungi against the dark grass go together so well it all really works with the processing you have chosen to go with. Clicker ~ With the way the weather has been the last few days this image certainly brightens the mood. Such a crisp clean image I can just imagine myself sat there with a nice beer watching the world go by.

    POTW - w/e 3/11/2019

Congratulations Rye wonderful set and great choice for POTW. The title of the set was wonderful too. I too spend many an average weekend with a giant headed hare on a BMX.
  3. Look where we went for Halloween ? Ruins in Reflection
  4. Impressive stuff for such a tough week. For those that need last minute inspiration......... the 3 shots I didn't do as I had taken them before but have sort of been covered already. Queen of Hearts playing card, a pound coin well the slang term for one........ and the mmmmmm edible one.......... tub of chocolates that tend to appear this time of year.
  5. Bit of an Americanism on this one as the other 3 ideas I had I have taken photos of before. As we would say cotton buds but across the pond Q Tips.............. and the Q stands for Quality. Who knew? .
  6. Hmmmmmmmm decisions decisions.......... ? Thought this might pose a few problems but I have 3 or 4 ideas already............... which do I go for?
  7. The task of choosing POTW falls at my feet again (that came around quickly). Another week of great variety plenty of trains, cars and landscapes to choose from. However this week it came down to a straight fight between 2 shots. Vanguard's excellent Shush shot which is right up my street its very dark and moody. But this week it is edged out just by the unusual and wonderful point of view under the bed sheets of VWGolf (Stella) cat. You will find the Original Thread here. Congratulations Stella.
  8. Could have taken loads of photos this week everything seemed to begin with the letter P. But finally settled on my signed PLECTRUM which was given to me by Singer Songwriter (Terra Naomi) I have had the pleasure of seeing her in concert and meeting a few times.
  9. Better late (as usual) than never. Ornate Owl

  12. I'm going to have to get my backside in gear only a few hours to go and no idea what to shoot. I'm going through my usual I can't be bothered to take photos phase of the year.
  13. Congratulations Fuji you are producing some wonderful macro with your DIY gear so well deserved.
  14. Bit rushed as I nearly forgot bit of a mad week. Model Meerkat
  15. I did actually type that myself then changed it for clever clogs................family site and all that.
  16. Sorry, I was just trying to be a clever clogs and the teachers pet.
