  1. That is a fabulous set Monkey ...That Pigeon on the last pic was either brave or just plain stupid!
  2. That is a quality set of images Paul... sorry I am so late to post on this.. I hope you are feeling better now too ....Covid can be very nasty ...
  3. Oh ... close .... more like coffee and cream ! It's a great looking car .... half expect to see Bonnie and Clyde posing next to it !

    ZZ Tractor

Love the title ! ... What's not to love about a red tractor !
  5. Stormtroopers ...an iconic image from the late 70s and 80s movies ... memorable stuff !
  6. I imagine with all those legs, this subject didn't stay still for very long !!
  7. That's really well composed Rye ...Primary colours too... simple but really effective ... The Format works really well ... it even loosely reminds me of a Mondrian with those colours and the black lines of the cables.
  8. Yes an interesting set ... Personally I really like the last one of the EPCOT Centre ... the incongruity of a lakeside scene with what looks like a giant golfball nestling amongst some trees and up against the roof of that building .... just surreal !
  9. Looks like a Space ride I've heard about in this Disney theme park..I see it first opened in 1982 though it's been updated and revamped a few times... Looks like you probably had some unusual shooting opportunities over there ... do post some more ... The yanks always do thing so BIG don't they ....
  10. Oooh I always like your mono landscapes Rye and using the 16.9 format that really lends itself to panoramic views. The framing and mount effect always gives a landscape like this some extra stature for me ...
  11. Really suits the letterbox format Rye and the composition is nicely balanced with the horizon and clouds placed where they are in the image .... I rarely like to see horizons in the centre of a photo. It does look like one of the largest wind farms I have seen on our coast . Is it Gwynt Y Mor ?.... if it is there are 160 turbines and that is the 5th biggest wind farm in the world !
  12. .... It certainly needs a few lesson in survival techniques as sitting on a wall almost silhouetted against the sky has practically placed it dead centre of the crosshairs !
  13. Ooh Some cracking images in this set Hatter ... Love the characters you have caught and they seem to fit in so well with the machines they are "partnered " with ... The processing just adds to the flavour of a bygone era ... I especially like the 1st and 3rd pic in the set ... and that vintage Chevvy looks like someone's pride and joy ... Out of interest I'd like to know what the colours were... looks like it could be cream and black!
  14. Never seen these before ...fascinating ... Great detail too Mik.
  15. Ah Thanks Mark .....Sometimes yer just get lucky and find that you are in the right place at the right time . I just loved the colour and that it was just it was the very last moments of the sunset and seemed to extend really low and just along the horizon.
  16. Thanks folks ...sorry I haven't been around much lately ... I must apologise but it 's due to issues with family and health matters ... I check in every day but haven't had much time to use the camera and comment on the posts as much as I usually like to. Hope to find more time soon ...
  17. Well done Cheryl .. your macro work just gets better an better ! Good choice Pau!
  18. Yeah I think his feathers all look fresh out of the box don't they ?
  19. A massive crop and a bit noisy when you double click on the image for the larger version but straight out of the camera otherwise ..... I was rather struck at how vibrant the colours were on this particular Blue tit ... The blue is usually a bit muted ...
  20. Sorry Mik... What expertise I have regarding stacking can be written on the back of a postage stamp ... so I'll leave the advice to the experts on this subject ....
  21. Thanks Cheryl ... I just stepped outside my front door when I saw how bright it looked outside from just the moonlight ... It's good when you don't have to travel far to get a photograph that you feel quite pleased with ....
  22. I think there may be a Call centre up there soon ....

    Diesel 37109

It seems a train spotters heaven in your neck of the woods Rye .... Is that a Deltic Diesel?
  24. Strange looking train....I don't ever recall seeing anything like that before ..... It looks like you have ventured a way down the track to get this photo !
