I will say 'hope you are well' but I daresay you are apart from being shaken up by the accident. So glad you have a dash cam and have recorded it all. The car can be replaced, you cannot, so don't worry about the car, it did its job and protected you and that is the only thing to consider Polly.
I can do upwards of 80000 miles a year, yes eighty thousand, and I can tell you that the standard of driving in the UK is at an all time low. No one, just no one seems to have time or an ounce of consideration for other raod users today. I have three years left on the road and I can honestly say I cant wait for the day to finish seeing the inside of a lorry cab for the last time!
Recover from your bruises and shock pour a glass of wine and raise it to those who built that vehicle that took the damage rather than you!
Hope your weekend gets better Polly

Aw Thanks Denis .. I ve just come back on the forum ..ther's been so much to do ... It wasn't my dash cam ... though i had bought one three days before and was planning on installing it that weekend . The car behind the offending car had the dash cam operating ...if you send me your email address I'll send you a copy ... it's horrendous and I'm having even more trouble than usual sleeping ...keep getting flashbacks ... Anyway I appreciate your message ... thanks ... Glad you had such a great meet at York too

Hello Polly, Dropbox or email will work
wartime.airfields@gmail.com has the Dropbox account,
or email to denissharp4654@gmail.com
Glad you are doing OK, I still get flashbacks now and again from just seeing a horrific fatal accident several years ago. I watched it all unfold in front of my lorry and powerless to be able to do anything apart from position myself in the road to stop others passing me and being involved too.
Being in something like that accident thankfully has not taken place.
Regards,
Denis.
