She looks a real poser Paul ... and rather regal too... Is it a she .....? she looks like she should be called  Lady  or Duchess.

Maybe  she should be sat next to a Wellington boot or something to show just how tiny she is .... small but perfectly  formed  as the saying goes .. ;)

Now you'll probably tell us it's a Mr Dog and his name  is Boris  ..... :ermm::laughing:

Doh ....Just seen the title of the post !

A lovely capture Paul, to be honest I didnt realise that Chihuahua,s came like this, I thought they were tan coloured short haired dogs.

Just shows how little I know, she is just gorgeous.

Ron

Thank you Ron and it's a he and a tough  little fellow, the original Chihuhua's were small dogs but not a tiny as some of them are now,but then they just kept breeding the runt's of the litter to make them smaller. I much prefer the original size ones as they are hardier.

As you can see from this picture from when I was up the local country park in a foot of snow he is not tiny or delicate. ;)

No, that's a PROPER dog, and has made me rethink Chihuahuas - just as seeing a full size poodle made me rethink those too.

Great shot, great dog........

Living close to a public park and many public footpaths, I see pooches of all shapes and sizes on a daily basis........I always make the owners of tiddly dogs smile ( or, recoil with horror) when I mention that they are ideal for.......

Removing the frost from car windscreens, their body heat is just right, and they soon warm up again after use......having a pair can be a very real bonus on exceptionally frosty days. ;-)

I usually make a hasty retreat after suggesting it ;-()
