Where in the world......................

Recommended Posts

....................... have you been that is that special place. A place that you would like to visit again and again. I have been to quite a few places that I would like visit again including the Amazon and Cuba. However there is somewhere much closer that has a special place in my heart and that is the Canary Island of La Palma, I have been six times and I would love to go again in the future... health permitting... I've had a couple of problems recently. It's unlike any of the other Canary Islands and I've been to six of them. La Palma is very unspoiled and very beautiful. To go to the highest point at 7,960 feet above sea level and spend some time just sat there taking it all in is awesome. Of course the weather can be a bit unpredictable at that altitude so it's a case of fingers crossed. I'll start this off with this image and add more images if you lot will keep the thread going with your favourite places.

One of my favourite places - the hills above the village of Dwygfylch on the North Wales coast. Great Orme is in the background.

Let's see a few more favourite places. Go on, you know you want to!

Korky

Korky... that looks a great place for a walk... beautiful view.

This is more of the wreck of the USS Arizona in Pearl Harbour Hawaii

It's a shame so many people had to die to create this scene.
