Having been out for a massive breakfast this morning and feeling rather stuff the wife and i decided a walk along the coast to the shops would be a good idea.

With the dog on his lead, rucksack on my back and iPhone in my pocket - off we went.

 

Not the best of weather but got two shots I though captured summed it up.

 

 

 

....got a bit too close to the surf and the phone got a bit (quit a bit) wet.

Having dropped the last one and smashed it I do have a very good case on it so all seems well - the things we do for a picture eh :-)

Good pics BP. Those surf bubbles are very sharp, surprised you left it in colour lol. Love the leading lines on the first one.

It's those bubbles for me - excellent! I too am surprised it's not in B&W.

Having looked at it full size I see that some bubbles have the 'rainbow' look to them, maybe that's why?

I dunno really - I quite like the soft tones.

I did have a look at in mono but the sand looks better in colour.....I think so but you've put doubts in my mind now

Nicely done and it goes to show it's not the equipment but the eye and mind behind it.

The second shot with the bubbles is much to my liking. It is a very easy composition to look at.

I watched an episode of Horizons once all about bubbles and on it the presenter explained that the sounds that the surf makes is mostly the sound of the bubbles popping....there's your interesting fact of the day.
