Hovering just on the 0ºc mark this morning but with a very strong biting cold wind - still I had to walk Thomas down to school so as I was already wrapped up it seemed rude not to take advantage of the sunshine.

 

Random snaps of stuff I saw...

 

I do love a snow drop - in the snow - in a churchyard...

 

Not a lot of snow about on the coast but enough to make it pretty...

 

Had to be done...

 

Not sure on this but I kind of like it...

The light was fantastic - bright but thin and wintery. I love the warmth of summer light, particularly the more you venture south but there is something about a sunny winters day that lends itself to coastal photography.

 

I think winter light is amazing - wide pale skies, no foliage to block it out, subtle shades of blues and other colours...
