Trying Pauln's tutorial - this is my Andean Bear

Following on  from Paul's excellent video tutorial, I figured I would have a go at the style he showed us. Thank you mate for the workflow - it is brilliant.

 

Here then is my first attempt...

 

Andean Bear - the original unedited version, then the first colour edit, then a black and white edit....

I think you've gone in too close, and lost the shape of the bear? Looks a very good first attempt though! Better than I could do.

Thanks - I like that too - but originally, I had cloned out the rope too

I'm an old stick in the mud... I like things to look natural.... the way my eyes see things. I don't like images that are over processed, but that's just me. I realise others have different views.
