Very good and clear tutorial. I'd give it a go, except I don't work with ACR - couldn't you do all that in Photoshop alone? After all, it has all the Shadows/Highlights/Contrast/Levels etc you could possibly want in Adjustments. Just thinking aloud..

 

(New pronunciation of "Adobe" by the way - I've not heard it pronounced like that before!)

I not only followed it, I discovered that I could use ACR on existing JPEGs - it's not just for RAW!

 

The one thing I couldn't work out - ACR was available from Bridge when I first opened the image, but it wasn't there in the Filters menu of CS6 when I came to try the "ACR endgame" bit. I wonder why that is?
