always good to sell a print (and well done on that) but realistically going to market needs a lot of research, e.g pitch rent, will prints sell unframed and for how much, etc - unless you are ready to do a runner a soon as the market/stall owner, police or trading standards turn up!

As a suggestion try and find a friendly cafe/hotel that will let you have some wall space and offer them a small cut in any they sell. and offer framed and unframed versions.

I always offer to frame my prints for people, the problem is that peoples tastes & decor are different.

if they want a frame then i find out what they like, black/silver/light or dark wood etc. i also recommend (what i think) the best colour frame would enhance the print. the tyne bridge print, the lad asked for a light wood frame but i thought a black frame would set the image off better, when he saw it (and others) he thought i was a good choice (phew).

cost may be an issue as well so i always fing out what people are prepared to pay.

to have pre framed images for sale would make an added cost (up front) to me with no guarantee of a sale. the image may sell but is restricted due to the colour/style of a frame.

Time is another factor i have to visit places, but maybe one day i will get round to it.

thanks for the suggestions.
