SNAIL'S REPOSE

Walkng past a local pub yesterday I noticed that the roses had been badly affected by recent weather conditions....many had opened right out into unusual star-like shapes..................it was this that I wanted to record.....when I spotted the snail tucked into one of the petals................a pretty but not very sensible choice of hibernation abode:

This is exactly as shot......no cropping, guassian Blur or other tiffling................just my usual CS3 processing to get the best from my original RAW shot:

the flower seems to come out of the screen at me, the soft dewy look to the petals is lovely and the snail just crowns it all off for me well done indeed !
