Super Moon.

Recommended Posts

At least your sky wasn't pitch black like mine, John.

I tried to get some lit up clouds in the shot, but I think it will be too grainy, as I had to up the ISO right up after doing a few at a lower one.

I got a few but it was dark by the time that it came between the blocks of flats.
Going to have a proper look and edit later.

by the time it got down low enough there was too much sun and it looked very 'faded'.

That was the problem I had Dee,  These two shots http://www.tipf.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=6994 were taken in the evening and turned out better. There's one more supermoon this year on 9th September, it won't be quite as big as the other two though as the moon will be further away from Earth this time.
