I think our Spring is in the air - officially just over 3 weeks away, but this arvo was sunny and mild. Out in the garden I spotted our first lizard visitor, just heading for the sun:

Only a small one, and this one was quite 'wary' so guess he/she is new to our area. When Kelly moved behind me he did the classic 'stay away or else':

Showing off his lovely blue tongue!! This was a lucky catch, as they don't stay with the mouth open for more than a few seconds.

Guess we'll start seeing more movement soon :D

great shots!

I keep hoping to find such wildlife in our garden, but with 3 dogs running around there most of the time there is no chance!
Plus our pond is 1metre of the ground (brick wall in planter), I think I need to make a step ladder for frogs and lizards/newts
