Martin, you should recognise this place!

you know I'm not one for landscapes, the misses suggest Fish and chips by the sea and watch the sun go down...

Nice one Leon! Which side of the estuary are you on? Looks more like you are on the cafe carpark at Knott End looking across to Fleetwood. I had whale and chips from the take away there a couple of weeks ago, best F&C in a long time!

I should like to make a cheeky suggestion.

Perhaps the picture would be a bit stronger if most of the foreground was cropped out to make more of a panoramic image?

Also what time of year was the shot?

Cheers

taken the other night...... feel free to edit, I always say Landscapes are not my strong point, no idea to compose them..

Thanks.

I asked about time of year because I was wondering what the best time of year to do Wyre coastal area sunset shots.

I don't know how to edit shots on here. I suppose I should try to find out.

Cheers

Jeff

I think you've done perfectly well with that one Leon - I must admit I do like the glow of reflected sun on wet sand and puddles in the near foreground. (But you could always make a copy and try a crop on that? Something I often do with my shots.)

Lovely Seascape Leon, it all balances nicely and the 3 poles on the right hold it in well. I noticed Jeff suggested cropping the foreground a bit, but for me If I was to crop at all it would be the  and 1/2 the sky, and leave the wonderful sand reflection intact,
