I've heard it said that to acquire a Shallow Depth of Field from a micro four thirds camera is difficult....

I deliberately experimented yesterday, using my LUMIX 2.6-200 lens.......it seems to have worked beautifully here?

The second shot, was composed in viewfinder, so no cropping:

Best viewed LARGE..........Click on Pics:

Thank you Paul and to all other commenters.....always great to get feedback, it makes posting so worthwhile.

Olypaul.........Saturated Reds?

Yes,I noticed that, I tried all my CS6 tricks to kick more life into those very striking reds, with little joy.........is there a special way to record red flowers?................I have had the same happen with a spectacular red rose.

I did my usual post processing but didn't up the saturation at all.

Ah Soh!

BP, I realise that, but I wanted to see how wide, and how close my 45-200 would go. I love the second shot here for its 3D effect..........

I will have to dig out that £20 Chinese CCTV lens, to see what that can do, it is quirky but is wonderful, all manual focus of course.
