I just had to share this with you all...

It was extremely hot, the other afternoon, I had decided to go on a longish walk all the way round our Castle, I had my Panasonic GX7 with the Lumix  2.8-200 lens attached, ready to shoot any wildlife chanced upon.

On the homeward leg on a roadside footpath I spotted a pair of male Blackbirds seemingly sunning themselves, they looked hot and bothered and not too inclined to move.

Well, me being me, decided to creep ever closer, until the first one scarpered under a hedge, whilst this dopey looking thing stood (or sat) his ground.......I was amazed when he lazily plucked a cherry of the ground and ate it......he then sat like this, looking dopey and Stupid without taking his eye off me.

I was able to take a whole series of shots, these two being the best for my tale:

Questions?......was he just hot and bothered a bit like me, and I wasnt an obvious threat....or.....were he surfiet of Cherries making him DRunk?

over to you wildlife experts:
