Yes! Close up, insects are truly amazing, the flies and Dragon flies seem to have an enormous Power Pack of muscles dedicated to powering their wings, those little drum stick like balancers fascinate me.......I didn't know what they were for until I saw them explained on a TV nature program.

When you think that insects as tiny as the smallest gnats have all that gear too, and all we do is slap them.......such a pity that many flying things aren't too friendly?

Thank you everyone.

 

The light is a tad harsh cos I had to use the onboard flash as I was moving the camera from the car to the house when I spotted the  fly.
