THE MONO VERSION

I think that I like this better, because the edges are better defined.

 

Chris (the all seeing Chris ;-) deteceted a bit of fuzziness where I had processed the intrusive BG out................the mono version, seems to have corrected that with just a little extra input.

 

On the original RAW file, directly in front of the head is a Shop Window facing directly onto the pavement and into the sun, just as I clicked the shutter a guy walked past, I had to clone him and part of the window frame out.

 

I was shooting inside our very busy ....Headway.....charity shop, one of the best, the goods are always of high quality, the manger and voluteer staff are the bes' it helps to fund treatment and research into the results head injury.

I like both versions, for different reasons. There's even a third version you could do (BP - now's the moment to leave the building...) - a selective colour version for just the head-dress

I like both versions too, Fuji, but if I had a choice to look at on my wall, it would be the colour one for me. Still a great subject, and nicely processed
