Well, there's folks in fancy dress waving flags, looks like it's a Fiesta! Glad you came out ok AND got the shots!

Those railway sleepers are pinned in place with 3' by 1" steel pegs, five were bent and the fiesta moved five sleepers

first time I ever went togging the rally at Kielder I was about 2 feet away from the first "sweeper" car an evo 7, showered me with rocks and dust, quite painful!!

after that I gained a respect for the warning signs..

One photographer a few years ago at Werrington would not take the advice of the marshals and ended up in hospital with two broken legs when a car went sideways

A bit scary! I once had a Nissan BTCC car go over my head at Donnington - cleared the fence by a good 3 feet.  Driver stepped out of the wreckage, shook his head and said "F*ck me, you lot ok? I was aiming for the car park"!!

Many years I used to track Marshall at Cadwell Park and a few local Rally-cross events, almost got knocked down sweeping stones off the circuit whilst the 'other' Marshall was supposedly watching for cars coming around.

I'm still utterly utterly amazed how Mark Webber walked away from that Red Bull 'flight' in Barcelona a few years ago.
