No.........Not OZ!

 

Down underneath one of the Split logs placed deliberately around our tiny back garden, most are placed on another section of log standing on end, this encourages Wireworms, Woodlice, Centipedes, plus a multitude of other damp-dark loving creatures, even the odd species of spider can be seen lurking in the dark and damp.....I lift the logs and turn them over occassionaly if I have the macro gear on camera.

 

This was the scene under just one of the logs last night........ I guess that a keen vegetable gardener wouldn't be too keen on giving potential pests a home.........but............just like Pigeons, Magpies, Crows and Canada Geese, they have a place in this wonderful world of ours:
