How dare you walk under my tree.......

Took the girls a walk round the block this morning. We have a very attentive juvenile Magpie that follows us around. I caught him in a tree as we walked underneath:

It was only when I looked closer at this that I saw the rather indignant look:

Thanks all :D

Fuji, this little guy is already very cheeky. He taps on our back sliding door window for food, and walks up and down the back verandah area, practising his singing - which isn't very good as yet!!

The Crow family all learn very quickly, they are, bright intelligent and seem to like having fun ( just watch them ride the wind during a Gale).........as you know I have had two orphaned Crows and a magpie as pets in the past, it is great fun.

Mine loved a game of tug of war with a matchstick, stole shiny things, flew off with keys ( found years later) Teased our old ( late) cat by chasing his tail, they followed us almost everywhere, came when called, loved riffling through hair with their huge beaks as they sat on our shoulders.

We didn't have them all at the same time, but they all behaved in a similar fun way, eventually, after around nine months they heard the call of the wild and left us naturally.

You have a golden opportunity to get to know that cheeky magpie even more.
