It's a carrion beetle (aka Oiceoptoma thoracica) and I've only ever seen two of them. Cracking picture for identification, Annie :yes

Yes bugs....thats what I am doing now, keeping them for ID purposes. And thanks for the common name...it never stated that in my book..cheers mate.

Found it in my big book......

 

Oieceoptoma Thoracicum......flipping heck! In other words a beetle...

This is what happens to me, when I find something so new, I cannot contain myself...maybe if I had concentrated more I could have got a better shot...but because it's so new and wonderful I get so excited.......I shiver and shake..lol..and with the bugs shiver and shaking in the breeze....well all I can hope for is the best!
