Hello there :)

I've been away for a fair while, due to various reasons and I'm struggling somewhat with my new camera.

Though I haven't forgotten this place or the lovely people here, so seeing as it was a beautiful day yesterday (Sunday), I took some photos in my garden and thought I would share them with you.

Not too familiar with Photobucket, so not sure if I've used the right image code.

Feel free to share your comments and thoughts.

Thank you. :)

WOW!

A very warm welcome back Beth........we really missed you and your regular posts.

Love the buds, great focus, and DOF.

I too am getting used to a new camera, so can emphasise quite a bit.

Works for me, Beth, and welcome back :)

If I was being picky (and I normally am, just ask Annie), I'd suggest that the twig coming in from a corner would be even more effective. This does work though, it says springtime with the gentle green of the background, the bit of blue sky, and the sunshine shadows on the twig to bring out depth.
