Had stopped off here after a trip to the Salvador Dali museum in Figures

Oddly ...it almost has a Canaletto feel to it on first impression.. Fabulous light  Strav ...  Have you got any pics from Dali's  museum? Did you  get to see the Mae West Room?

I have always wanted to got o Figueres  but didn't manage to find the time when   Barcelona a few years ago ...  just a bit too far  to travel at that time  but it's on my bucket list . He was a a larger than life character wasn't he ...  Anyway I digress .... It is a memorable image ...

The one thing you find about Figueres and Cadaques (where his home is) is the light.  We visited there with an artist and she commented on it.  Yes I have a few of the museum ... but not particularly good ones

Thanks for sharing those  Strav … that  has just reignited my desire  to see it for myself … I really must try and get there .

You should do Figueres, Cadaques and Girona if you can as a combined trip.  Cadaques is mad, Dalis house
