This Laowa Lens  is  quite a tricky  beggar when taking pics so low to the ground as one really needs the viewfinder to  get the focus   right ... I may have  to give up doing stuff in situ and  bring the  flowers into  the studio .. or wait till it's dry enough to lay  on the ground !!🤣

I  do have an articulated screen on my X T3 Fogey  but for me it is a lot clearer to see when you have the focus  spot-on (with such a narrow depth of field), through the view finder when  doing really close up stuff .... this  Laowa lens is a completely manual lens with no electronic communication with the camera ... so no EXIF data   either  !  It doesn't help that I can see through the viewfinder clearly without  spectacles  but  using the screen  I need to  put on  a pair of specs...or  hold the camera at arm's length to  see it clearly !!!😂

I really like the  the 110 degree angle  I can get with a 12cm minimum focusing distance  which means  I can get  so much more  of the surrounding environment into the  image  and make some of  the macro work a bit more interesting  for me ... Anyway ... ...maybe I will have to take an inflatable  airbed  with me  so I can lay on the ground in comfort  next time I am shooting !! 🤣
