I got stung on the boob by a wasp that was in my cozy on a beach in Cornwall....I went mental and to the complete horror of my two teenage sons stripped down to near nothing....LOL. When they calmed me down we drove to the nearest chemist, I got out of the car and was attacked by a flipping dog on a long chain, you have never seen a family move back into a car as quick as we did................I have never been back to Cornwall since..,my sons do have pics of me sitting under an sun canopy holding me boob and sulking...lol!

I don't really mind bees and wasps and will sit by the lavender bush for ages watching the working.

Your edit has really brought the detail out. It makes a big difference to a good shot that is just a bit flat.

Aren't you glad that you persavered with your photography and also gave editing a go.

I'm simply of the opinion I should be able to get it right in camera.  I know editing does give the final touches but learning to use my camera properly before learning to edit :)

But the camera never captures a scene exactly as the eye see's it. Mr W and that's why we have digital camera's ans editors these days.
In the film days, filters were used on the camera so you could say that the photograph was being captured how we wanted it to be at the end result.
It's just the same as doing post editing in digital.

No difference really as when it boils down to it, it's just making it how our eyes see the scene.

If we didn't want to edit, then we could all save loads of money and stick with a completely auto camera and forget about any other settings.
