That  works well with the isolated red in a mono environment Mark… though I hope you didn’t waste too much  wine in the execution of this image!

It's just colored water, My wife only occasionally drinks wine and after my ordeal with a cancerous tumor on my brain the meds don"t mix with alcohol  so L cant drink anymore.   

I keep a box of food coloring on the shelf in my  makeshift back room studio.

Thank you sir, it changed my life quite a bit. It took my commercial drivers licence and almost all the things I loved to do, so I decided to get  more serious about photography, that is  the silver lining in that dark cloud.

Thank you kindly, I am glad to be on a forum again, I was on one that was really good years ago, but it changed after an administration change and most of the good people left I have been looking off and on since.  I do a few Facebook groups but somehow it just isn't the same.

P.S. sorry about calling sir earlier, I figured it out.

Well captured Mark. (My sister bought me a wine glass that holds a full 75cl bottle of wine that I used for a still life, none of the wine was wasted as I drank it all and I could say in all honesty I only had the one glass.)

I really like the dark background and reflections.
