Hi guys,

Yes I put just a tiny hint of sepia to give it a warmer feel, as I think a normal B&W conversion would have been to harsh for the subjects.

I know what you mean about the earing, but that's what she normally wears so I thought that because it is the way she is I wouldn't change it. But... I do know where you are coming from though.

Beautiful image, very tender. The earring doesn't bother me either, but I do question if we should have mum's complete ear rather than only half of it? Would have to see the uncropped version to be sure, though.

Hi Chris,

Yep your right there, I totally agree.
I was trying to get an intimate feel to the image and to be honest the whole ear is something I have totally overlooked!
