I went to Dudley Zoo yesterday.  A difficult day for photography with indifferent light and the subjects behind fencing or glass.

Anyway some shots of the day.

Fascinating to see the  similar poses and body language  made by Primates...especially chimpanzees , our closest relative in the animal world .  Put a bikini on the  prone spider monkey,  a beach umbrella overhead and a pair of Bermuda shorts on the sitting Spider monkey and  you  can replicate   the demeanour of  a couple  catching the rays on the Costa del sol!!  Add a Pina Colada and a  bottle of  XXXX ...  there you have it .....sorted ! 

A great set especially suited to  adding captions Fogey ...Any takers ??
