It's strange how you get different reactions to posts on different forums, I'm not begging for comments but these shots went down a storm on a forum in the US on which I am a member. 33 views on here and no comments.

Well if you are into herons they dont come a lot better than these

Usually shy birds did you stork them :innocent:

People seem to be a little shy of comments at the moment its not as if there are heaps of trolls on this forum, which is the main reason I like it

fuzzy... you are right when you say they are shy, I have tried to photograph Herons more times than I can remember. I didn't exactly stork it, I go to Bosherston Lilly Ponds whenever I stay in Pembrokeshire (once or twice each year) and I know where they hang out. There is a bridge across the lake and I used the wall of the bridge to hide behind as much as possible and just waited for around an hour... I think the wait was worth it.

I missed this one! Nicely taken with some good poses.

On the subject of views v comments, I often look at posts in the evening, when David's watching TV, so I can't reply then as it would disturb his viewing. So I often view more than once - the second time I leave a comment.
