TRIPLE JUMP

Recommended Posts

After visiting the Pool the other day I went into town carrying my SONY A55 with the TAMRON 70-300 lens fitted..........during sunny periods, teenage Skate Boarders can be seen using the ramps and large parking area behond and alongside our local Waitrose and at the rear of other shops.

They are left well alone as long as deliveries arent being made...............this lone Skate Boarder was in a world of his own practicing his moves....the large reflective window background and the bright winter sun helped my composition and title.

Look closely and you will see why it is called....Triple Jump........his action is being reflected on the glass and projected in shadow form..........all three in perfect synchronisation:

Thank you folks.......

I was surprised to see the synchronised shadow and reflection, so not really planned ( I wish it had been ;-) my subject was around 50 yds from me, it was my 70-300 that allowed me to capture what I did by zooming right in; this is the best of three shots.

Since posting it I have noticed a bluey purple area bottom left, where I had to remove noise.....I will return to my original RAW File to correct that later.

Using a 300 mm zoom lens for Street Photography isn't a good idea, far better to use a Prime, and get physically closer.........then again, that might have spooked my subject?

I always feel sneaky, walking about town with a blooming great lens attached.
