I disagree with most of the comments on this thread (and me being a milk lover!!!!) I think for pure drama in the shot no miilk is best...however, (to me) for artistic impression milk is much more pleasing to look at

Well done Fuji, it must have taken a lot of courage to post a milky water shot...will we be seeing a lone tree anytime soon?

Thank you all for the expected response...........I can see now, that my Milky version is more of a motion blur, and, I think that if the man in the street saw either version, they would accept them without question.

I must admit to having a slight technical problem in the shape of a very impatient walking buddy, who just cannot fathom my need to stop every so often to adjust camera settings, I had three goes before I got the milky shot.

I might have another go, when I'm on my own, just to prove that I can do it, then put the experience behind me.........I create lots of Arty shots as you know, but milky, unnatural looking water bugs me.

I have produced single tree shots, it's just that single tree on the stone pavement on the Yorkshire Moors.....it is such a cliche and a real bore......photographers with no imagination or flair.

Trick is not to let the exposure be so long all detail is lost, your version is just right.

Praise indeed....from the Master too ..............Thanks Bill....you might get me doing milky water again one day.
