Are you a time traveller or is that wishful thinking

 

All are excellent use of the letterbox format where quite possibly the more traditional format would have a 'samey' sky or foreground, and this minimises that 'same' effect whilst still giving the details to the viewer.

 

I must say the first four in particular are worthy of a brochure, and all deserve to be opened large, especially number 5. (I don't think 5 is a brochure shot because the details of interest are too small in the frame to be highlights, but it's an excellent shot in it's own right)

2,3,and 4 i love the sense of space and/or  isolation in them... the first and the fifth ones for me are spoiled by the bits you are telling me to ignore lol  but they are still very nicely taken
