My name is David Williams. I am the founder and photographer/artist with SkonZac Photography

 

I am 48 and have a life-long love of photography. I love experimenting and bending the rules and pushing the boundaries of photography.

 

I am open to discussions on any aspect of photography and willing to share my experiences.

And yes that's right and capturing a moment in time - a look, a glance or a smile, among others, that would otherwise be lost for ever. That's one of the special aspects of photography

I can never envisage myself shooting videos, I much prefer stills, although I haven't had much chance to get out in the last couple of weeks with my camera, down to one thing or another.

Thanks for the welcome's everyone. I have posted an image up in the wildlife section of two starlings on my bird table from a few months back. I am not sure where to add an image for the image of the month though.

 

And hi Tina yeah I am the same about video I much prefer stills. I have been out quite a few times in my local dene taking a few photos as autumn really kicks in. But I must admit I have been slightly disappointed by the results as a whole but I have a few I am pleased with.

David picture of the week gets picked by one of a panel of people from the pictures posted in the forum over the week, so anything you post in the general forum is up for picture of the week automatically

 

The monthly competition you need to actually post an image into the thread that fits with that months theme

Top of the screen, click on your username then "My settings", one of which is signature.

Hi Chris, thanks but I just don't see it there. There are lots of options and I've been through them all, but I don't see anything to do with signature
