Rhyl men of steel

I particularly like the silhouette effect in #1 and #3 Steve.

What I can't make out is what the guy in the middle is supposed to be - is he about to clap his hands over his ears at the guitar player, or is he saying to the footballer, "Over 'ere son, on me 'ead"? :D

I like the silhouettes especially, but the bridge shot isn't really very clear.

A bit of searching on the interweb tells me that they are three 'local heroes' from Rhyl.

To quote the Rhyl Journal:

"Artwork of Rhyl heroes Sir John Houghton, the Nobel prize winning climate scientist and former Rhyl Grammar School pupil, musician Mike Peters, lead singer of The Alarm, and Rhyl FC’s Don Spendlove, who bagged a record of 629 goals during the 1940s and 50s, have been placed at the gateway to the bridge."

The names mean absolutely nothing to me, but the fact that your picture was enough to send me off to find out who they were said that both the ironwork and your picture did their job :) Nicely taken.
