These have worked really well.

 

It's unusual to see them photographed at night, the ones I took were during the day and offer a totally different (often taken) perspective.

 

 

Well done for traipsing around Malham etc at night!

The second is very different, I do like the way you have blended setting sun and stars this is a highly creative and original image!

 

But if I may suggest it would be perhaps more dramatic if processed a little darker?

I hope you don't mind.

i'm not brilliant on the processing :( i just took the right hand slider in levels and brought it back untill the histogram started rising and liked the result which is what i posted  :smiling:  as for walking round in the dakrk i was glad i had a torch because i have never, ever seen so many cowpats in my life :wallbash: dodging then turned a 100 yard walk into about 3 miles :rofl:

I like both compositions. The edit works better for me, as although the original isn't 'too light', it is if you want to call it night photography if you follow what I mean?
