Looking out of my window this morning and seeing thick fog and not looking forward to the morning when I will be leaving home at 5am to do a 460 mile round trip... it will probably be foggy again. I thought I would look through my files for a more cheerful scene, I took this on the island of St Agnes, Isles of Scilly in April 2010 and the weather was better than summer this year. Nothing like a pastie and cloudy scrumpy... :thumbsu:

annie... did you visit all the islands?

One can hardly believe this shot was taken in the British Isles, it's Tresco Abbey Gardens.

shame about the slanting horizon though

One of the problems of wide angle lens, if you look at the glass of cidar it's vertical, look at the vinegar & salt and pepper they are both leaning and they would have been leaning even more if I had corrected the horizon. I suppose I could correct everything in post editing but it doesn't bother me to be honest.
