It Moved....

Just as I was about to take the photograph, this tiny springtail moved and turned more than 90 degrees to head -on - and was then pointing straight at the lens, but it also decided to have a look over the edge of the piece of brick it was on.

 

So, not the best example, but at least it's an insect!

 

The springtail is about 2mm long roughly.

WOW! That is one remarkable photograph of yet another variety of our wonderful, but tiny Springtails.............Fascinating, hardy little critters.

It was pretty mobile, and quite a large one by their terms. A few even smaller ones were flirting around too. Also saw a drain fly on the brick but the image wasn't that clear that I took.
