I'm not a fan of what I consider over-processed pictures, but that is really rather nice. Very striking and eyeball grabbing in it's intensity.

It is Kenilworth Castle, I live practically next door, the outer moats are just 50 metres from my back door.......It is so familiar to me, I tend not to bother taking photographs, I leave that to the thousands of tourists we get every year.

Just occassionaly if the light is right I might be tempted, as I was on Thursday afternoon, when the late sun was shining......the finished RAW study I held on file, until my nine year old grandaughter visited earlier today.

She likes to watch me transform my photographs using CS6 and sometimes TOPAZ filters.........like all contemporary kids she is computer savvy, she knows how to adjust the filters and how to use layers and brushes, with a little guidance from me.

She used the Portrait/Smooth to achieve the none textured look, then fiddled with layers and tones to acquire the finished result......I like it too.........because it reminds me of those 1930s Railway posters.

Just a little strong on the colour, Fuji, but, you know what it looks like to me - a very elaborate sand castle!!
