Roker Illuminations

Sunderland City Council (don't get me started) have finally got their finger out and put the illuminations back in Roker Park. They haven't of late which is a shame as I remember them from being a kid and its a magical experience.

Didn't want to lug the Nikon through crowds in the dark so just hammered away with the phone and Instagram:

Bit noisy but you get the idea. Might go back in a few days when its calmed down with the Nikon and a tripod to do it right.

All nice to look at. Illuminations is something that doesn't seem to happen here, apart from Xmas. Love the reflection on the water in the last. Oh, and I get the idea of what Dylan decided to be!:)

Lovely! Your phone held up well to the lighting conditions.

There used to be illuminations in Walsall Arberitum which we could get to by train and bus, but sadly they stopped them about three years ago.
