This is as "macro" as I go.

 

Coprinellus micaceus or Glistening Inkcap, growing on the stump of a fallen tree.

Mix of natural light and flash using something rather like a The Gary Fong Lightsphere - a Cravendale milk bottle; it's not collapsible but it is cheap!

Beautiful light Bill, it is good to see you posting things that are a bit closer to the lens;-)

I too use a Gary Fong inspired, plastic pudding basin diffuser, but a carefully fitted plastic milk container is a great idea........by the way, I line the top quadrant if my basin diffuser with kitchen foil to help throw the flash to the end of my extended macro lens.
