sun rise at the coast sunday gone

a few of the results of a hour or so at the coast sunday morning, spread over two posts.

The clouds in the last one a re fantastic, and I like the position in #5 & #6 of the tower - moreso because it is of the third.

Geoff. these are truly lovely. you have got some wonderful colour into those pictures, I like the way the sun peeps through the fence on the first shot, but the last shot, I could live with that on my wall....

i love the way you seem able to capture light so well in these pictures as well as the beautiful colours. 

My favourites would have to be the portrait one as i like the fantastic contrast from the light to the blue 

and the first and last ones of the landscape ones for the amount of light you have captured and the skyscape

I do love #3, those two posts (which look the towers of a bridge) rising moodily out of a dark sky with its subtle reds...

thanks all, you could feel the cold starting to come of the sea now. we do get some nice sun rises and some great colours on the coast.

I post at a max of 600 pix, this is so I can get the 5-6 pictures on the posting, any larger and I seem to have problems, also the size suites when I email and post on my facebook site.

True, but if you split those pictures between two posts (i.e. add a 'Reply' to the first), they could be bigger?

All extremely good to look at, but perhaps perversely, the light or lack of it, and the depth of the blue really makes #2 my favourite of the lot.
