very slight PP like contrast and straightening, both were taken from in the water on slippy rocks using a ND4 filter and long exposure (10 seconds I think)

not to everyones taste but I like muchly :)

Liking both but prefer 2nd due to the fallen tree across the frame on the top pic although the green colour on the still water is very nice  :smiling:

I did think of dragging it out of frame but left it, thought It would add to the forest scene.

A nice composition for both 'shots', but like Chris, I prefer to see water as I see it, and not 'milky', for want of a better word.

 

There seems to be a great leaning towards 'milky water' shots these days, which to me is more artistic (as in a painting) than photographic.

 

However, 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder', and if we all liked the same things, it would be a very boring world, so each to his own.
