Selective colour, sort of

I didn't see the original but are you shooting in RAW? If not its worth consider as Raw files are far easier to adjust colour than jpeg

Yes i shoot raw but global adjustments didnt get me what i wanted so i selected the white and converted it to B/W

Are you using Lightroom or Photoshop as you can, rather than using global adjustments, select a specific colour to reduce / subtract ?

How do you do that Colin? Do you select a colour using magic wand

LR and PS are slightly different but if you are using Photoshop to process your RAW files use the various icons that run along the top as shown. You can also use image/adjustments/select colour from the top bar and choose neutral/colour (I'llpost a pic later)
