Thanks all,

This was taken with my AF-S Nikkor 35mm F1.8G DX, just got in close and grabbed the shot before it flew off.

I only sharpened it a little in NX2 before converting to jpeg from RAW

Certainly not fed up with seeing peacocks, it would be nice to see one in real life though. I see a few cabbage whites but they don't sit still long enough for me. I am sick of horse flies though, got a bite on my ankle today just when I thought I was clear of them!

I love seeing them.

We only had cabbage whites on the Lavender in the last few weeks, but we were amazed that a short train ride to the Fishing lakes brought us to hundreds of them on the Buddlia bushes.
This was around lunchtime when it was very sunny, but when we walked back to the gates to go home, they had nearly all disappeared.
