A picture in a picture

What annoys me about this image, is the shadow of the picture frame that interferes with the main diagonal shadows. There would have been no way to get one set of shadows without the other also, but it could be removed in Photoshop. What do you think?

I don't know about removing the shadow altogether, maybe just make the right hand edge vertical!

Yes - that's the only thing that betrays that the picture was hanging at a slight angle. Photoshop could fix that fairly easily.

And just to throw in a bit of the buggeration factor, I much prefer the edited version.

I found the frame shadow just too distracting and the image looks cleaner and more complete without it.

For me, it needs a black border to finish it off, but I appreciate borders aren't everyone's whatsname.

I honestly believe it needs a shadow to maintain the 3D look, possibly straightened and less harsh?

I agree, without the shadow the picture looks as though it is painted on the wall.

Hey :)

I think this image really needs to retain the frame shadow and I prefer the shadow in the first picture.

The second is just flat to the wall....almost buried like an impression.

I have to be honest and say that although this is a very interesting and different shot, the kind that I like, I just don't feel I can say that I like the diagonal lines.....I felt distracted by them when trying to overt my gaze to the picture.

Neverthless, intrigue lies within......and an interesting image. :)
