Two by two

I have just returned form a three day photo trip to Yorkshire. I have not been able to get away in my camper since March and finally cracked...

 

The weather and light were mixed but if I had got nothing else it would have been worth it to me for this one picture.

That'a a superb picture - and absolutely made for breaking the "rule of thirds". The horizon should be exactly where you've put it, to make to most of the reflections.

Another brilliant landscape bill

So balanced with the horses and walkers, clouds and reflections

I am not so sure it does break the rules of thirds, yes the horizon is central but where does your eye look first

Mine goes to the left where the two edges of land converge on the left hand third

Bill there is something in the water on the right in the yellow reflection that seems a bit too prominant once spotted, well at least to me and probably no one else

I did wonder about this but there is a balancing rock on the other side so I left them both.
