Fallow Deer.

I went walking in the Forest of Dean on Wednesday, I wanted to get some macros of insects. As insects appear to be banned from my local wood this year I thought I'd try another venue, as it happened things were no better in the forest either. It was so hot and sticky I decided just to take the macro lens and not be weighed down with gear as I was already carrying more water than I would usually. If I'm honest a ten mile hike was too much especially as my bad leg plays up when it's hot and I suffered for it yesterday. Isn't it marvelous, when I have my full set of lenses I'm lucky if I see any deer, on Wednesday I came across Fallow Deer on several occasions. These two shots were taken with the macro lens and the second has been cropped to death...  :yes
