Four Spotted Chaser (dragonfly)

A fairly diagnostic picture of a four spotted chaser (Libellula quadrimaculata) 

 

Not to be confused with the broad bodied chaser or the scarce chaser which also come in yellow :)

 

The male and female are very similar so I have no idea which this is. Hopefully they can tell the difference ;)

That's beautiful... so crisp,clear and sharp enough to cut yourself on...  :thumbsup: 

 

Did you take this today... I haven't seen a single dragonfly this year and that includes on my recent trip to Pembrokeshire.
